Zoom meetings for the next couple of weeks until we can clarify the numbers allowed at Toorak. John read out the opening statement of the Club Visioning. This is being currently reviewed by the Board. Bullying and Harassment Policy. Policy set up by District. Resolution of complaints process set up, with initial mediation settlements to be contained within Club. Details being tidied up by the next Board Meeting. President Neil advised that both of these policies would be presented to the Members shortly, and Members are invited to comment if they feel strongly about any aspect of these policies.
Environment, Justin Mason
Group discussing planting along the Bay Trail next to the Railway line. There will be a Green Waste bin at the Farmers Market to publicise the Council’s collection of food waste program next to our BBQ. Lets use this for food waste. The Environment Committee has agreed to start a clean up public waterways and beach program. We will be meeting the 2nd Sunday of the month at 9am. The first meeting will be at Frankston boat ramp on Sunday 14th November at 9am. Come along for fellowship, grab a coffee and stroll along the beach. Bring gloves and bag for rubbish.
Youth, Ross Schweitzer (standing in for Mike Weber)
We have written to all Clubs in our District, asking them to identify and contact all Secondary Schools in their area and to meet and greet School leaders, when the Schools have been opened. Developing a brochure for all to use. Application to Foundation for grants for Youth programs. National Youth Science Forum. Sharene Marshall is looking forward to participating in Forum, as is Sicili.
Rotary Youth Leadership Award. Club has a candidate. Our Club also has the opportunity to provide a leader, possibly from the Satellite Club.
Foundation, Ross Schweitzer
Ross outlined the current list of Foundation projects. He advised that the Taliban is in favour of completion of the vaccination program in Afghanistan. Ross asked members to submit names of members of our Club or community that we felt should be recognised as a Paul Harris Fellow.
International, Kay McCauley
This year’s projects will include Wheelchairs for Kids, the ODS School in Cambodia (both ongoing projects), and supporting the project run by Libby Wilson from Rosebud-Rye Rotary Club. Fund raising to support these projects will include a visit including afternoon tea to Beleura House and Garden, probably around Easter and the Pot Luck Dinner in February, 2022.

Community Service, Linda Morris
Knee rugs have been presented to the Village Neighbourhood House. Four blankets have been provided to the Mornington Information Centre
International Women’s Day will be on 2 March next year. Numbers are likely to be limited. Linda thanked Garry and his wife for the weeding that they have done on the Cobb Rd park
