Induction of New Members
Congratulations to our four new Rotarians who were inducted into the Club on Tuesday May 4 - Suzie Adam (returning to the Club have previously been an active Rotarian for approximately five years), Janet Richards (who joined in COVID times and hadn't had the opportunity to be inducted), Justin Mason and Leanne Trembath.
Gaining four new, active members at the one time is a significant milestone for Mt Eliza.

Guest Speaker - Jade Phelan, CEO The Bays Hospital.
Our Club was fortunate to have a wonderful guest speaker this week - Jade Phelan, CEO of the Bays Hospital.
Jade spoke of her background - from growing up in Bendigo, to undertaking a Business degree at RMIT, working for two accounting forms (Ernst & Young and KPMG), working and studying in America (obtaining MBA), commencing in the health industry in Perth, Darwin and back in Melbourne and becoming CEO of The Bays late last year.
Jade then took us through the current activities of the Bays including the hospital in Mornington and Aged Care and Dialysis facilities in Hastings.
Explaining future expansion, Jade emphasised the need for The Bays to retain its strong community links. She encouraged Rotarians to become Members of The Bays.
A most interesting talk concluded with a wide variety of questions.
