We had a very productive Board meeting Wed . All Directors have submitted their budgets for the year and their priority projects.
Annual subscriptions have been received and 80% of members are financial.
Remember that you do have the opportunity to pay half yearly if this is more convenient.
Last week we had the Vice-Principal and social worker from Mount Eliza Primary visit.
They introduced a psychologist and business manager of a company called I am Mindful, (IAM).
They spoke about a project scheduled at the school during Wellness Week.
Suzie Adam and her Vocational Committee are financing a workshop to the value of $1000.
The IAM program delivers a first-aid toolkit and resources to teach young people, their teachers and parents safe ways to cope with stress and anxiety.
See everyone at Bunnings BBQ at the weekend.
Home Hosting - 2024/25
A popular activity at our Club over many years has been Home Hosting; an activity that allows members to enjoy fellowship in smaller groups at each other’s homes.
Participants in Home Hosting invite two (or more) Rotarians & partners, where applicable, to their home for either lunch or dinner. Single Rotarians are easily able to participate.
In turn, participants are invited to the home of two other Rotarians to share a meal.
A roster is drawn up and distributed to all those who are interested and have put their names forward. Home Hosting is now open and will close on Friday, 6 September.
You choose a time to invite guests to your home.
If you put your name down for Home Hosting there is an obligation to fully participate and invite those assigned to you to your home.
Those who are interested in being involved in Home Hosting are asked to email
