The Rotary Club of Mount Eliza continues to build momentum, with the induction of two new members marking another important step in our club’s growth and renewal.
At this week’s meeting, Chloe Lewis and Sam Hobman were formally welcomed as our seventh and eighth new members respectively—an encouraging sign of a vibrant and evolving club.

The evening was shared with guests Jenny and Alan Kilcott from Bordertown, South Australia, adding to the strong sense of connection and community in the room.
In formally inducting Chloe and Sam, the significance of Rotary’s global reach and purpose was reinforced. As part of a network of over 1.4 million members worldwide, Rotarians are united by a commitment to service, integrity, and positive impact. Central to this is the Four-Way Test, which continues to guide members in all they think, say, and do.
As their proposer, Yvonne Simpson reflected on the genuine intent Chloe and Sam have shown since first engaging with the club. From the outset, they were open about wanting to learn, connect, and contribute—seeking not just membership, but meaningful involvement in a community built on shared values and experience.
Both Chloe and Sam expressed their appreciation for the warm welcome they have already received, and their enthusiasm for becoming active contributors to the club.
Their induction represents more than just new membership—it reflects a club that is growing with purpose, embracing fresh perspectives while continuing its strong tradition of service.
With seven and eight new members now welcomed in recent months, the Rotary Club of Mount Eliza is well positioned for an exciting future—one built on connection, contribution, and community impact.
