Held in Officer and attended by Club Presidents from across the District, the evening acknowledged clubs that are creating strong and sustainable Rotary cultures.

The Governor’s Excellence Award recognised the club’s dedication to fostering a welcoming and supportive environment that enhances the overall member experience, while the Gold Award acknowledged exceptional achievement in attracting and inducting new members.
With approximately 90 clubs across District 9815, only a small number achieved Bronze, Silver or Gold recognition, making this a significant accomplishment for the Rotary Club of Mount Eliza.
When accepting the Membership Gold Award, Club President Jim highlighted the contributions of Carolyn, Maurie as Membership Chair, and the club’s communications efforts in helping strengthen engagement and membership growth.
The awards reflect the strength of RCME’s culture — bringing together members ranging in age from 30 to 94 years, supporting diverse service opportunities, encouraging fellowship, and creating meaningful impact both locally and internationally.
From community fundraising events and local support programs to international partnerships and youth initiatives, the Rotary Club of Mount Eliza continues to demonstrate the power of connection, service and community leadership.
The club thanks every member, volunteer and supporter who contributes to making RCME a welcoming and vibrant club for people who want to create positive change.
