Last weeks meeting was the Bowls/Petanque night at the Bowling Club organised by Bernie Edwards.  I thought it was great fun and the combination with Petanque was a good addition as we have two resident experts Judy Coultas and Suzie Adam.  Superb organisation Bernie.

Next week we will have a combination of speakers.  Our two National Youth Science Forum (NYSF) students will come to meet us and tell us about themselves.  We also have an interesting speaker talking about Chinese culture and the situation.  He will be happy to answer any and all questions.

This Sunday November 19th we have the District AGM on Zoom.  This is of course the last AGM for District 9820 before we amalgamate with District 9810. There will still need to be votes to approve finances and the rules for amalgamation.

In the afternoon of Sunday19th, we have our Afternoon Tea at David and Linda Morris’s home.  This will involve 60-70 people.  All profits will go to provide furniture in Quinn’s Park at the top of Mount Eliza.

This Week's Speaker
There was no Speaker this week due to our Fun Night at Mt Eliza Bowls Club

Bernie Edwards organised a great night of Lawns Bowls and Petanque at Mt Martha Bols Club last Tuesday.

It was great fun for all to learn to roll a Bowl and throw a Petanque boule.

A great dinner was supplied and the desserts were amazing!!

Sadly, we didn't get any photos. If anyone has any, please send them to me and I'll pop them in next week's Bulletin.
