The venue was was secured at a very favourable rate by John Paterson, whom I sincerely thank. To our our great delight 😃 music 🎹🎷🎻🥁🎸 is being provided pro bono by Alex Anderson jp and his Swingers. Now, Carolyn expects 120 attendees. Trust me; be very afraid. The soirée is not only, although the price per head is really modest, a fund - raiser; it is a major new member drive. The event is ‘bring a plate - byo’ and there is a spit roast, facilitated by the indefatigable John Welsh. Do not expect any let - up from Carolyn. She can make people’s lives a misery.
